I might have to set up the PowerMac on the other desk, if only for nostalgic reasons. It's an 8500 with an alarming 180mhz of high-speed slowness.

I'm one of those people who thought they'd never use anything but a Mac for the rest of their lives. But you now how it is, unless you have some sort of graphic design job, you'll most likely end up using a PC.

Does the Apple campus in Cupertino still have those huge GUI icons on their lawn?

When I went to the market with my cousin in the Philippines, I found that I tended to favor the outdoor area where the vegetables, fruits, and the like were sold.

That's because when we were in the indoor meat section, I had to watch out for the butcher knives that swung into the air. It wasn't that I was in danger of having my head cut off or anything. It was because of the stuff that would fly off of the knives as they arced into the air and also the stuff that splashed out after the knife came crashing down on its target.

I'll just leave it at that.

During the 2005 holiday season, the company I work for sent out little pop-up 2006 calendars to our clients. They were kinda cheesy, but people liked them.

This past year, we had the children of the employees draw up some art for the Christmas cards we sent out. The final product was professionally done and a bunch of our clients called us back to specifically mention that they enjoyed the cards.

One of the clients though, jokingly mentioned to a company partner that he didn't get his "cheesy pop-up calendar" this year. So in response to that, we conspired to create a special calendar for this lucky gent. I took a picture of two of the partners and then I pasted them onto some cardstock. We then placed these little pop-ups into a very cheesy 2007 calendar. (After I pasted them onto the cardstock and before they went into the calendar, I set up all the tiny people in front of my boss' door during her lunch break.)

The client loved it. I think this might be the start of a tradition.

This site is still a work in progress, but I thought it would be a good idea to just continue posting some stuff while I overhaul the site design.
