18 Weeks
This week's development is the addition of a high chair to our house. We've been putting Dax in his chair at the table with us when we eat. He looks ridiculously tiny in this chair, don't you think?
He seems to really like this new development. For awhile, he has been taking great interest when we eat. He stares and moves his mouth as if he is chewing. I guess he is sort of "in training" for the introduction of solid foods which will (unbelieveably) be happening soon.
His hand-eye coordination is getting quite good. The other day Cat was carrying him in a store and Dax grabbed a little basket off a table as they walked by. He's all about the grabbing these days. Seriously. Don't put anything near him if you don't want it covered in baby spit.
Next week is a big week for Dax. He has his four month checkup with Dr. P during which we will discuss the plan for solid foods and during which he will get more shots (and I will subsequently cry). THEN on Tuesday his Nana and Gigi (Great Grandma) are coming to visit for the rest of the week.
