Small Wonder

I went to Ulta today (or, as Cat calls it, the "Hot Girl" store). Dax attracted quite a crowd of sweet young things. At one point there were six "hot girls" gathered around him cooing at his long lashes and adorable smile. He absolutely loves this attention. Obviously he has not inherited his father's shyness gene.

He is getting pretty good at sitting up. I was going to say that he had it "mastered". But one does not earn the title of "Master" when one still randomly topples over as if a strong wind had suddenly come upon him.

I love this picture of him. It makes me giggle. Probably because it looks like his head is as just as big as the rest of his body. Which it isn't. I don't think. Although that might account for the sudden toppling over.

In non-Dax related news (yes, very rarely it isn't all about Dax), Cat has been painting. I almost said that "we" had been painting but I haven't done a thing since we picked the paint out. My excuse is that I have to hang out with Dax in the back of the house so that he isn't exposed to the paint fumes. Shut up. That's legit.

So, anyway. Cat has been painting and it looks fantastic. Here is a picture of the entryway. The color is called "Summer Pudding". I don't even want to know what you would put in pudding to make it this color. You can't really tell but the lighter colored wall is no longer white. It has been painted "Softer Tan". We also will be adding some "Macadamia" to the mix. I can't wait to see it all finished.

There are a few more pictures of Dax in his Snapfish album. If you no longer have the link and you want it just let me know.
