On beyond NO

Dax has decided that the word "no" is not quite emphatic enough for his taste. Now when we are cruelly submitting him to any form of horrendous torture like asking him to eat his yogurt or playing the wrong Wiggles song we are met with a hearty, "NO WAY!" It is usually accompanied with much arm flailing and grimacing. I would like to nominate him for an Oscar.

I don't know where he picked this up. It is, however, both funny and annoying which I think is probably going to be on ongoing theme throughout his childhood.

On a positive note, he's also added to his "yes" repertoire. Sometimes he will tug at me and plead for "outsiiiiiiiide" and I will say, "Oh, do you want to go outside?" Then he will answer with an "ok" that indicates that I came up with that idea all on my own and he's just going along with it. He will also frequently answer with a cheerful "sure" when you ask him a question.

We took an amazing little weekend vacation and I'll have some pictures to share just as soon as I get a moment to sit and download them without Dax yanking at me and yelling "NO WAY" in protest of my computer use.
