Beach Boy

We went to Carmel Valley this weekend to visit Dax's Tia and Uncle Duck and to meet his uncle's mom (Mama Duck). He had a fantastic time. Such a fantastic time, in fact, that he didn't want to leave when Sunday rolled around.

For weeks he had been asking to go to the beach but when we first got there he didn't want to have anything to do with it. "Thazza be yucky," he declared of the ocean and the sand. But Tia and Uncle Duck got him running about in the sand and soon he was chasing the gulls and making a fearless dash for the water.
