Want to know what Dax WON'T be for Halloween this year?

See, first he wanted to be a monkey but we were having trouble finding a costume. So then I tried to convince him to be a doggy because of a cute costume we saw at Target. But, no. Then when the Pottery Barn Kids catalog came in he saw this adorable Pumpkin costume and proceeded to harass me with "Mommy, I wanna be a punkin'" for several days.
Wouldn't you know it, they were sold out of his size.
But that didn't get me out of enabling my dear son's pumpkin love. Not in the age of eBay. I bought it and it arrived yesterday. We tried it on and it is a perfect fit. Of course he LOVED it, right?
Wrong. He hates it. As you may have surmised from that look on his face in the picture above. Now he says he wants to be a doggy.
(If you would like to dress your 2 to 3 year old as a pumpkin then you can buy this adorable costume from my brand new listing on eBay.)

Posted by: Violet at October 5, 2007 05:33 AMI was going to suggest Old Navy online for the monkey costume, but they sold out quickly. (is it sad that the babe isn't even born yet and I'm already enjoying looking at what costumes are out there?)
Are the pants part of the pumpkin costume? Because the pants are totally worth keeping. :)
Posted by: K. at October 5, 2007 05:48 AMThe pants are the bottoms of his Halloween 'jammies. The way things are going, those pajamas may end up being his costume. He loves those.
Posted by: Michelle at October 7, 2007 08:19 AMNow don't you know that the minute someone buys the pumpkin outfit Dax will decide he just HAS TO BE A PUMPKIN:) This child reminds me of one that I had - hummmmmmmmm - let me see-----it wasn't Sean.....
