Daxisms
Watching The Mr. Men Show with Dax. Since it was recorded on Tivo we have the luxury of forwarding through all commercials. Dax gets "fast forward" and "rewind" confused so you have to be up on your Daxisms to know what is required of you if you hold the remote.
Dax: Mommy, re-fast this.
Me: You mean fast forward, honey. Ok, no problem. But what would you have said if you wanted me to go backwards?
Dax: Ummmmm.....re-back this!

One day when I picked Dax up from school I found him looking like this.
That's his stem. He's an apple. And I'm very glad I was told that because otherwise I totally would have been just as confused as Cat was when Dax was pleading with him to make him an applehead. He was grabbing at his hair and saying he needed a "rub". Translation: please get a rubber band and put my hair up so that it resembles a stem so that I may pretend that I am my favorite fruit that I refuse to eat.
